Volunteer Information - Clean Up Locations - Volunteer Registration

Born from a love of the beautiful Roubidoux, the City of Waynesville has formed the Roubidoux "Do It" Crew to help Park staff recover from yearly flooding events.  This volunteer opportunity offers some of the best views and teammates that you will find.

Think of the City with it's own "Roubidoux Light" that we will flash whenever the need arises and you can be one of the City's Superheroes by answering the call!  Check back here often for opportunities to serve or better yet, subscribe to the City's website and get instant notification of scheduled "Crew Days".

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

What to Bring

Dress in layers for changing weather conditions and prepare for the possibility of rainy weather.  Long pants are strongly recommended.  Sturdy shoes or boots are required.  NO FLIP FLOPS OR OPEN-TOED SHOES ARE ALLOWED.  Bring sunscreen, bug spray and a water bottle to stay hydrated. Always expect muddy and/or slippery conditions.

What you get

Volunteers will receive a free Roubidoux Crew T-shirt and bragging rights as a true City of Waynesville Superhero.  Lunch will also be provided courtesy of one of our local eateries .

What's Next?

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a monthly schedule of "Crew Days".   You can participate in as many days as you would like.  Before each event, you will receive an email with any additional information you may need, such as weather and river conditions.

Event Extras

As a Crew Member, you have the opportunity to become a real Superhero of the City of Waynesville.  The more time you donate the closer you get to Superhero status!  Listed below are the current levels of achievement:

clean up locations

Clean up locations will be located at certain sections of the Roubidoux Bank, both the east and west sides.  Information regarding the area of the clean up and location of check in will be provided in the email sent before each event.

VOLUNTEER registration

If you are interested in becoming a Crew member, download our registration form, fill it out and email it back to us today!  If you are registering a scout troop or school group,  and they are under the age of 18 (must be at least 12 years of age to particpate), you will need to download, print and obtain parental or legal guardian signature on our Minor/Student Liability Form.

Be sure to download the forms before filling them out.  You will then be able to use the email button to submit to City Hall.
