The City of Waynesville is looking for part-time Parks Laborers. Applicants must have a solid work record with reliable attendance and a good work ethic. Must be able to write clearly, communicate and work well with the residents of the city. Full-time positions may be available at the end of probationary period.

Applicant should have a valid Missouri driver’s license. CDL is preferred. There is a frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, sit, and lift heavy objects, during the course of the work day. Salary is commensurate with work experience.

Police Officer - Patrolman I

Full-Time

Salary - $17.50 - $18.94 per hour

The City of Waynesville is looking for full-time Patrolmen. Patrolmen work both independently and cooperatively to provide pro-active police protection and crime prevention and traffic enforcement consistent with community policing objectives. Incumbents ensure the safety of the community in an orderly, efficient, and professional manner by engaging in constant patrol of the City’s streets and Byways.

Applicant should have a valid Missouri driver’s license and be Missouri POST Certified. There is a frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, sit, and lift heavy objects, during the course of the work day. Salary is commensurate with work experience.

Public Works Technician - Natural Gas

Full-Time

Salary - $17.54 - $18.99 per hour

The City of Waynesville is looking for a full time Natural Gas Technician. This is an entry-level position with the Natural Gas Department. Applicant must have a solid work record with reliable attendance and a good work ethic.  Applicant should be a self-starter with knowledge of utility operations.  Must be able to write clearly, communicate and work well with the residents of the city.

Applicant must possess a valid Missouri driver’s license. CDL is preferred. Applicant preferably will have PHMSA Certification in Natural Gas systems.  There is a frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, sit, and lift heavy objects, during the course of the work day. Salary is commensurate with work experience.
