Utility Payment Options

All payments received after 3:00 p.m. will be posted the next business day.

Payments by Mail
Payments are accepted by mail in the form of a personal check, cashier’s check, or money order payable to: City of Waynesville

Payments In Person
You may pay in person at the Waynesville Municipal Center located at 100 Tremont Center, Waynesville, Missouri, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday, except holidays.  Forms of payment accepted are cash, personal check, cashier’s check, money order, credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard & Discover are accepted).  A 3% convenience fee will be applied to all credit/debit card payments.

We also have a drop box for your convenience located outside in front of the Waynesville Municipal Center.

ACH Payments
The City of Waynesville accepts ACH payments.  For more information, please contact the Waynesville Utility Department at (573) 774-5217.

Online Payments
The City of Waynesville accepts online payments.  Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Cards are accepted. 
A 3% convenience fee will be applied to all online payments. 

Please Note:  We recommend that you make your payment request several days before your Payment Due Date. Payments made prior to 3:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday – Friday, will be posted to your utility account on that day. Payments made after 3:00 p.m. Central Time Friday, all day Saturday, all day Sunday, and all day on legal holidays will be posted on the next business day. Please keep this in mind when making your payment online to avoid a late penalty.  

If you have received a disconnect notice, please keep in mind that your online payment will not post to your account until the next business day.  Your payment must be posted to your account two (2) days prior to the cut off date on your notice to avoid service disconnection and a service fee being applied.  

Any additional fees such as service fees or non sufficient check fees cannot be made on line.

The City of Waynesville, Missouri, is located in Pulaski County, Missouri, and is home to Fort Leonard Wood.  Historic Route 66 winds its way through downtown Waynesville, and the area near the Roubidoux Spring in Waynesville's Laughlin Park was used as a Cherokee encampment during the 1837-1839 Trail of Tears march.
